1. About the Platform

Ahlul Baith is a community platform dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of Ahlul Bayt in Kerala. The Platform provides family tree management, member registration, community news, events, articles, and related services for registered users and visitors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register an account, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share any family or personal details you submit.

3. Account Registration

• Registration may require a valid mobile number and OTP verification.
• Family member registrations may require admin approval before full tree access is granted.
• Public users may access limited features until converted or approved by an administrator.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and OTP verification secure.
• You must not create duplicate accounts or impersonate another person.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or offensive information about yourself or others.
• Upload documents or images you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or admin areas without authorization.
• Disrupt the Platform, scrape data, or use automated tools without permission.
• Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or harassing purposes.

5. Family Tree and Member Data

Information added to the family tree may be visible to approved members and administrators according to platform settings. By submitting lineage details, parent information, spouse records, or supporting documents, you grant Ahlul Baith permission to store, review, display, and process that information for community and administrative purposes.

Admin review may be required for new member requests, phone correction requests, and conversions from public user to family tree member.

6. Events, Payments, and Donations

Where event registration or payments are offered, additional terms shown at checkout apply. Fees, refunds, and cancellations are handled according to the event details and applicable refund policy published on the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform design, branding, articles, and original content are owned by Ahlul Baith or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content without prior written permission, except for personal non-commercial use.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, provide inaccurate information, or pose a risk to the community. You may request account removal by contacting us through the details on our Contact page.

9. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis. While we strive for accuracy in family records and community content, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Use of the Platform is at your own discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahlul Baith shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, unauthorized access, or disputes between members.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kerala, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
